In 1995, with “Chavi y los del Barrio” he was invited by the city of Seville to take part in the program “Encuentros entre el Son y el Flamenco”, which gave him the opportunity to share stage with Compay Segundo, La Familia Fernández, Tomatito..
Other bands he was part of are for example “Los Cuban Boys”, “Big Band” de la Universidad de Sevilla, the singer “Manzanita”, “Maria José Santiago”, ...
In his career he played many different types of music, such as Salsa, Spanish Music, Jazz, Pop music, ... During his stay in Spain he acted as musician and dancer in some of the most important andalusian theatres like “Lope de Vega”, “Maestranza” de Sevilla, “Gran Teatro Falla” de Cádiz, and many festivals and TV-programs.
In the last years he concentrated his efforts more in teaching without giving up the concerts, and decided to open up his own school “Flamencoycuba”, where he teaches latin dance to people from all over the world.
Also he visited other countries such as Hungary and Germany to give workshops in Latin dance and percussion.
